INSTALLATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES

In 2023, AB Vernitas began implementing the project “Installation of AB Vernitas RES generation capacities”. With this project, the company aims to install a solar power plant, which will allow the company to use the generated electricity for its own internal needs and at the same time reduce traditional energy consumption, thus contributing to the reduction of air pollution.

The project will be implemented under the Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 “Encouraging enterprises to transition towards a climate-neutral economy” activity “Encouraging the deployment of renewable energy resources in industrial enterprises (Central and Western Lithuania region)” of the 2021-2027 European Union Funds Investment Programme and the 2022-2030 Development Programme of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania. 

The total project value is 368,131.30 EUR, of which the eligible costs are 317,746.05 EUR, 190,537.00 EUR allocated from the European Regional Development Fund. Project implementation period: 2023 September 12 – 2025 October 31
